About Twilumin

Twilumin began in a small 39-square-meter rental apartment.

At the time, we were both working full-time jobs. One of us worked in the coffee industry, while the other worked in cross-border e-commerce. Like many couples, we dreamed of building something of our own—something meaningful, something that reflected our values.

That dream eventually became Twilumin.

Our journey started with a simple question:

Why are so many products made for small pets designed only to sell, rather than to genuinely improve their lives?

As pet lovers ourselves, we shared our home with a rabbit named Pepper. More than a pet, Pepper was part of our family. Watching her explore, chew, dig, and play taught us something important: small pets need more than toys. They need enrichment, stimulation, and opportunities to express their natural instincts.

When we looked around the market, we found many products that focused on appearance or sales trends, while overlooking quality, safety, and the real needs of small animals.

We believed small pets deserved better.

So we decided to create it ourselves.

With limited savings, we rented a modest 39-square-meter apartment. Our living room became a warehouse. Our dining table became a workspace. Every corner of our home served multiple purposes depending on what needed to be done that day.

The early days were far from glamorous.

After months of research and development, we launched our very first product. It took over three months of testing, redesigning, and refining before we were satisfied. Pepper was our most important product tester, helping us understand what small pets truly enjoyed and needed.

Even after launch, every product was personally inspected, assembled, and packed by hand. Many nights were spent packing orders long after midnight, making sure every item met the quality standards we believed our customers and their pets deserved.

From the very beginning, our mission has never been simply to sell products.

Our goal is to help small pets live richer, happier lives while giving pet parents products they can genuinely trust.

Every material we choose, every design we create, and every product we release is guided by the same principle:

Today, Twilumin is still growing, but our vision remains unchanged:

To become a trusted brand for small pet families around the world and to create enrichment products that bring joy, comfort, and better daily experiences to the animals we love.
